Potato Storage Tips

Potato Storage Tips:

We get questions almost every day asking how to store potatoes so they last as long as possible.  The following tips will help you keep those spuds of yours clean and healthy for weeks.

1. Try not to store potatoes in plastic.  Find a material that breathes like a paper bag or a cardboard box.

2. Store potatoes in a dark or dim space.  Keep your potatoes away from direct sunlight.

3. Make sure the space you’re storing your spuds is cool and dry.

If you follow these simple steps you should be able to keep your potatoes for 2-3 weeks without finding greening, or sprouts.

Hopefully, this helps!
